Curio for the Mac – Reviews

Here’s a compilation of must-read review articles and user opinions / feedback on Curio by Zengobi for the Mac.

Mind Mapping is only a very small part of what Curio can do. Collecting notes, planning trips (yes – photo shoots included), – in fact planning ANYTHING. Collecting notes, Web sites and links, jpgs, pdfs, linking them all together.

It is like having a huge, infinitely extensible whiteboard on which to draw, pin, stick, and write.

As all traditional software ads say: “limited only by your imagination” ;)

I recently used it to plan an extensive overseas trip, including having all my e-tickets, hotel bookings, hire car reservations, sights to see, side trips to make (all with direct URLs attached), people to contact complete with all contact details, all in Curio.

I use it to plan projects, complete with “do by” dates, which then acts like a target and reminder system.

It links directly into Evernote (another wonderful app) from www.evernote.com. Curio can throw up a palette of Evernote notes which can in turn be dragged onto the “whiteboard” space.

And it looks great, doesn’t cost much, and has one of the most responsive developers I’ve ever come across on the Zengobi forum.

I should point out that I have no affiliation with Zengobi / Curio – simply a very keen and satisfied user.
